I took yesterday off from making lunch, partly because of the time change and partly because I wasn’t feeling up to doing much of anything. I think my body runs better in DST, with natural light later in the evenings, but the adjustment takes a few days. I could complain about my slowish time on the treadmill (14’36″/mile), or I could make sure when I get on it this weekend, I inch closer to my personal best (12’30″/mile) be back in fighting shape by May where I beat my best altogether.

Lunch almost didn’t happen today.

I stayed up late finishing a crochet project, at least late enough to watch the news and part of Letterman, and turned in at the same time I usually do, but this morning the motivation to get out of bed and put clothes on for work was not there.

I ran for the first time in a few weeks last night at the gym. I hate the treadmill, but I can’t run when it there’s a negative windchill and no one in the neighborhood bothers to maintain their property.

1 - the Great Lakes Comic Con is tonight and tomorrow and it’s the first convention of the season for my and my homies, GLAHW. I haven’t decided what I’m wearing yet but it will probably be black and red, because I know that stuff is clean.

I wrote this and it’s taped over the coffee maker in the common area. Out of the 8 people that wander up to drink coffee, I’m one of 2 that actually bother to make it.  The most common complaint was they they didn’t know how, so I created a WORK INSTRUCTION on how to make coffee with the percolator.
